About the Role

Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence and interested in building a career in journalism or digital media? This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious individuals to join the AI revolution as an AI Journalist.

In this role, you will work closely and report directly to the Director, contributing to original, insightful, and timely AI-focused content.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and publish high-quality, SEO-optimised articles on AI-related topics.
• Conduct interviews (phone, video, or face-to-face) with AI industry players and stakeholders.
• Create news articles, features, and interview pieces
• Stay up to date with current AI news, trends, and developments—locally and internationally
• Occasionally travel to cover AI-related events, conferences, and expos
• Distribute content across sister company websites
• Source, create, and publish content on the company website as directed by management.
• Maintain professionalism in all editorial and professional engagements
• Occasionally work remotely at management’s discretion

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum education: HND, BA, or BSc in any discipline
• Strong passion for journalism, storytelling, and emerging technologies
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and concepts, especially in AI
• Professional attitude with good communication and organisational skills
• Previous experience in media, journalism, or blogging is an added advantage
• Experience in video editing is a plus, but not required

• Probation Period: 3 months
