Our Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AI Careers Nigeria, operated through aicareers.ng (the “Platform”). AI Careers Nigeria is a specialised job board focused on artificial intelligence and related roles.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
• “Platform” refers to aicareers.ng and all related services. • “User” refers to any individual or organisation accessing the Platform. • “Job Seeker” refers to individuals seeking employment opportunities. • “Employer” refers to companies or recruiters posting jobs. • “Content” refers to job listings, profiles, CVs, text, data and other materials submitted or displayed on the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
3. Platform Services
AI Careers Nigeria is an online marketplace that enables employers to post AI-related job opportunities and allows job seekers to search for and apply to them.
We do not guarantee job placement, employment outcomes, or candidate suitability. AI Careers Nigeria is not a recruitment agency and does not act as an employer or agent on behalf of users.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.
You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information • Keep your login credentials secure • Notify us immediately of unauthorised account use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Job Seekers’ Obligations
Job seekers agree that: • All information provided is truthful and up to date • CVs and profiles do not infringe third-party rights • Applications are made in good faith • The Platform will not be used for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
6. Employers’ Obligations
Employers agree that: • Job listings are accurate, lawful and non-discriminatory • Recruitment activities comply with Nigerian labour laws • No fees will be charged to job seekers unless legally permitted • Candidate data will be processed in accordance with NDPR and applicable data protection laws
AI Careers Nigeria reserves the right to remove job postings that breach these Terms.
7. Payments and Packages
Certain services, including job posting packages, may require payment.
All fees are clearly stated and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing or service features at any time.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not: • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes • Post false, misleading or discriminatory content • Upload malware or harmful code • Scrape, copy or misuse Platform data • Interfere with Platform security or functionality.
9. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, branding, design and software are the intellectual property of AI Careers Nigeria or its licensors.
Users retain ownership of their own content but grant AI Careers Nigeria a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute such content for Platform operations.
10. Privacy and Cookies
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, AI Careers Nigeria shall not be liable for: • Employment decisions made by employers • Accuracy of job listings or user content • Losses arising from Platform use or inability to use the Platform • Data loss, business interruption or indirect damages
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Careers Nigeria from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion if these Terms are violated, without prior notice.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
